FUND MANAGER-Total Track Record - 8 months (Jul. 2004)

This BVI-registered trading firm (foreign exchange) is in the process of collecting clients funds and establishing its first-year track record. The success of its trading technique, compounded by strict loss management policies, has rewarded it with a monthly double-digit performance since inception.

Individual Client accounts are opened with world-class brokers RefCo/ACM in Switzerland and or Gain Capital in the U.S., and a limited Power of Attorney to trade on their behalf, is given to the firm by the client. .

The manager's own money is at play on each trade. Client funds are committed on an 'initial invested equity' pro-rata basis, and via a pre-trade-defined allocation key, thus ensuring absolute fairness with regard to share of P&L on each trade.

The manager has 15 years experience in Finance and Markets, and has worked with such institutions as, notably, the Paris Bourse, Caisse des Depots et Consignations, SocGen-Crosby, Credit Suisse First Boston, where he has developed a keen knowledge of price formation mechanisms across a broad range of products & asset classes.

FUND STRATEGY- Total Capital target US$1-5 Million by 4Q2005
The manager essentially engages in very short-term high-leverage momentum-based trading in the spot FX market. No positions are ever left unmonitored. No overnight positions.
The strategy is non-discretionary and uses clearly defined 'stop-losses' and profit targets upon entering the market.
The program has an absolute return focus and exhibits no or accidental if any correlation to traditional asset classes such as stocks and bonds.
The amount of leverage used is guided by the the manager's internal risk management rules, which aim to limit potential loss on each trade to 6% of total equity. Historically however, max losses have been in the 0.5-1% range only.
The manager has key clearing relationships with RefCo/ACM and Gain Capital. Target Capital is US$50-100Million.
