- Total Capital - Less Than US$20 million (As of Jun 2003) |
|
|
The fund is a short-term, technically-based
fund seeking superior absolute returns on a risk-adjusted basis. The strategy
utilize proprietary systems to identify and codify patterns of trading behaviour
to predict and profit from short-term movements caused by extremes in investor
emotion. |
|
|
The fund allocates capital across
a diverse set of highly liquid financial instruments across US, Japanese and other
Asian markets. Most positions are liquidated within one trading day and rarely
held longer than 48 hours. |
|
|
The fund managers typically analyse
trading data of the most liquid US and Asian financial instruments for 7 years
to identify consistent trading patterns. The resulting trading systems are rigorously
tested in various combinations to reduce portfolio risk by minimizing system correlation.
Maximum leverage is 5:1 with open stop loss orders limiting portfolio drawdown
to 15%. |

both a US Dollar and Japanese Yen offering. The fund seeks US$100,000 minimum
investment amounts. The fund is listed on the Irish Stock Exchange. Brown Brothers
